James Works Global Managing Partner, George Group

James is Global Managing Partner of George Group. He served as President and COO for five of his nine years with George Group and was recently appointed to the role of Global Managing Partner of George Group within Accenture.
James specializes in advising private and government sector leaders in the areas of Innovation, Business Strategy, Operations Improvement and organizational change. His client experience spans many industries including technology, business services, industrial products, retail and federal government.
James is a frequent speaker and is the co-author of Fast Innovation (McGraw-Hill, 2005), a groundbreaking book, which provides executives with a roadmap to sustain market leading growth by creating innovation that is fast, differentiated and disruptive. He is a contributing author of such popular business books as Lean Six Sigma for Service (McGraw-Hill, 2003) and Conquering Complexity in your Business (McGraw-Hill, 2004).
Prior to joining George Group, James held key roles in the areas of Strategy, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing and Business Model Innovation in the personal computer industry with Advanced Micro Devices and Dell. James was also a consultant with Ernst & Young. He holds a BA in Economics from Duke University and an MBA with concentrations in Marketing/Finance from University of Texas. |
