Peter O'Rourke
Director of Marketing, Public Services

Peter O'Rourke Director George GroupAs Director of Marketing at George Group Public Services, Peter is responsible for new business development and strategic marketing initiatives in the Department of Defense and civilian governmental agencies around the world. In his role, he builds relationships with clients to help them dramatically improve performance in areas such as operational excellence, business strategy, innovation and growth.

Peter maintains a consistent and strong image for the company through all its forms of market exposure including publications, website, conferences, advertising, and direct marketing. He is responsible for shaping branding messages as well as designing and implementing marketing and book promotion campaigns. He also oversees development and placement of journal articles and thought-leadership white papers.

Peter is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with over 14 years of military experience specializing in global supply chain operations and continuous improvement. Peter has management experience and recognized expertise in wholesale and retail supply chains, developing and implementing strategic supply chain strategies, and delivering tactical logistics performance.

Peter earned a Masters in Logistics Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and Bachelors in Political Science from University of Tennessee.
