Walt Mores
Vice President, Public Services
 Walt Mores is Vice President of Client Services at George Group, overseeing large global improvement initiatives in the service and manufacturing industries. He provides leadership to a diversified set of commercial and federal accounts from initial strategic design to on-going guidance. His desire to achieve excellence has enabled companies to transform their culture by establishing lasting improvements that maximize shareholder value.
Walt's experience spans the globe, having led several Lean Six Sigma deployments with Fortune 500 clients in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Currently, Walt oversees George Group's European operations.
Prior to joining George Group, Walt held leadership roles at Honeywell/AlliedSignal Inc. He directed and led function managers to achieve strategic goals in sales growth, marketing campaigns, product acquisitions and value engineering, resulting in an increase of annual sales revenue by 55% and product margins by 20%.
Before joining Honeywell/Allied Signal Inc., Walt served in the United States Navy as a Naval Officer and Aviator. As a Mission Commander, he led daily combat flights during the Gulf War, with a 100% mission success rate. As an instructor pilot, he trained and evaluated over 100 pilots through intensive classroom, simulator and in-flight instruction and performance review. He also held the position of Maintenance Officer managing 55 maintenance personnel involved in aircraft repair and mission preparation of nine $30 million aircraft. As a Tactics Officer, he managed 20 personnel responsible for strategic planning and analysis, intelligence evaluation and communications procedures.
Walt received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The United States Naval Academy and his Master of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. He is a certified Program Management Professional and Master Black Belt. |
